ORLANDO, Fla. (November 10, 2023) -- AAU Volleyball continues to grow and the month of November is seeing some big updates.
AAU Volleyball membership is up 17% this month. The 2023-2024 membership year has seen AAU Volleyball reach the 100,000 plus membership milestone faster than ever before. This year is currently running more than 14,500 memberships ahead of the AAU Volleyball record pace from last year.
Thank you to all of our members who continue to grow AAU Volleyball to heights it has never reached before. With more members, come more exciting tournaments each year. One of the premiere events of the season is coming up this weekend, with the Chi-Town Boys Challenge.
The partnership of AAU and Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) is entering the second year in a big way this weekend. Together, AAU and JVA will host the Chi-Town Boys Challenge in Downtown Chicago this weekend.
With over 850 boys volleyball teams entered, this will be the largest boys volleyball tournament in the history of Chicago Boys Volleyball. AAU Boys Volleyball will be taking over the windy city!

The AAU was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sports. During its early years, the AAU served as a leader in international sport representing the U.S. in the international sports federations. The AAU worked closely with the Olympic movement to prepare athletes for the Olympic Games. After the Amateur Sports Act of 1978, the AAU has focused its efforts into providing sports programs for all participants of all ages beginning at the grass roots level. The philosophy of "Sports for All, Forever," is shared by nearly 800,000 participants and over 150,000 volunteers.
