ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2020 AAU World Futsal Championships crowned winners of six different age divisions at the sport’s premier youth event hosted at the Orange County Convention Center.

The event was held in spacious conditions at the award-winning Orange County Convention Center with strict social distancing and health and safety procedures in place.

07-08 Girls

Joga Bonita FA won the 07-08 Girls Division with a 3-1 victory over Mount Pleasant FA in the championship game, which came after 7-1 victory over RB7 in the opening match.

Mens Open

High Soccer Arena took home the title in the Mens Open Gold Division after toppling Houston Hotshots Gunners 4-2 in the finals after advancing on 4-1 win over Florida Crushers in the semifinals. Orange SFA won the Silver Division with a resounding 9-2 victory over SIGNnow Sports in the championship match.

05-06 Boys

PSG Academy outscored its opponents 11-1 en route to clinching the 05-06 Boys Gold Division. Red United also played well in its Silver Division matches, outscoring it opponents 10-2 to claim top honors in that division.

07-08 Boys

The Ballers scored nine goals in both of their games to win the 07-08 Boys Gold Division. In the Silver Division, Gauchito United FC edged SSA Futsal 4-3 in the championship match to win that group’s title. SoFla Futsal capped off a 24-goal tournament showing by finding the back of the net 11 times in the championship game of the Bronze Division bracket. Orange SFA won the Copper Division with a narrow 3-2 win over Houston Hotshots Black in the title match.

09-10 Boys

The Central Futsal Lions blanked RISE Futsal Academy 2-0 in the championship game of the 09-10 Boys Gold Division. The Striker Boys won the Silver Division with a 9-1 victory over Orange SFA, which had been playing well, which narrow wins in the play-in game and semifinals. Anthem FC cruised to the Bronze Division title with a 7-0 win over Florida Crushers White. Florida Crushers Red won the Copper Division with an 8-0 victory over SIGNnow Sports Black in the finals.

11-12 Boys

In the 11-12 Boys Gold Division, YellowCap FC took the top spot with a hard-earned 5-3 win over Forms Academy. Joga Bonito FA held off Gauchito United FC 6-5 to win the Silver Division. Elite Academy also prevailed in a close game to win the Bronze Division title with a 5-4 victory over SIGNnow Sports Black. Forms Academy shut out SSA Futsal 16-0 to take home the Copper Division title.
