– DOWN… SET… HIKE! No false starts on this announcement, it is officially time for the 2023 AAU League Based and Unrestricted National Championships. Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida will play host as we find out who is the best of the best in AAU Tackle Football.
 
For the 15th year of the tournament, the AAU League Based National Championships will kick off on December 11 and go through December 16. Joining the AAU Leagues Based Nationals this year will be the AAU Odd Ages Unrestricted National Championships.
 
Seventy-eight (78) teams from all over the country will be juking and sprinting towards the endzones in Davenport. Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington DC will all have teams representing at the championship tournament. Every team makes the trip hoping to travel home with an early holiday present.. an AAU Football National Championship.
 
This marks the 9th year that Davenport, Florida will host the National Championship tournament. This year however, all championship games will be played at Lake Maude Recreational Complex in Winter Haven, Florida. All championship games will be played on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Teams in the League Based championships will be split into five groups based on age: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U. Unrestricted teams will be split into odd aged groups: 7U, 9U, 11U, and 13U. Teams like the Next Generation Defenders who won it all in the 7U division last year will be back to defend their crown in the 8U division this year. The Vero Beach Foundation Indians will be back this year hoping to avenge their loss in the championship game of the 8u division last year.
 
With returning champs back to defend their titles, hungry runner-ups looking for revenge, and new teams looking to shake up the power rankings, this year will be better than ever. For a full list of teams and schedule, visit Football Exposure Events.
