RECAP: 2019 AAU Scholastic Duals

The 2019 AAU Scholastic Duals saw over 200 high school boys and girls teams at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on June 19-25, crowning the MAWA Point Blue the All Star Gold Champion.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Over 200 teams competed this past week at the 2019 AAU Scholastic Duals at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The event saw 193 high school boys teams and 10 high school girls teams participate in the seven-day competition, June 18-24.

In its second year, the 2019 AAU Scholastic Duals Girls Nationals had 105 competitors on the mats in a round robin format, crowning the Michigan Pittbulls as the 2019 Champion. For the full list of results click here.

On the boys side, 2,694 wrestlers grappled in 15 different divisions ranging from All-Star to Developmental and Community. The MAWA Point Blue from Pennsylvania became back-to-back champions for the All Star Gold title, holding off the tough Young Guns. Brawlers Elite from Pennsylvania also walked away as the two-time Developmental Gold Champions, while the CFWA Stars from Florida took the gold in the Community 1 level. The Community 2 Gold division Champion went to team Somerset from Florida. A full list of results can be found here.
