The AAU Gymnastic National Championships are back in Orlando, Florida on June 13-16, drawing a record breaking 2,605 athletes to The Arena at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The AAU Gymnastics National Championships are back in Orlando, Florida. The peak event of the 2019 season will draw a record breaking 2,605 gymnasts to the ESPN Wide World of Sports (over 900 more than years past). The four-day event will begin on Thursday, June 13 and wrap up on Sunday, June 16.
 
There are 21 different competition levels ranging from Level 1-8, Open, Youth Excel, Ruby and Adult. Athletes range from 28 different AAU districts, with the highest representation from Florida and Georgia. All events of the competition will occur on three gyms set up in The Arena at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
 
Check in will beginning at The Arena on Wednesday, June 12 from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday, June 13 from 6:45 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday, June 14 from 6:45 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, June 15th from 6:45 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunder June 16 from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
 
AAU Gymnastics has once again partnered with Kids Helping Kids to help give back. Proceeds from the sales of the AAU National Gymnastics Championship pin will be donated to a children’s charity. This year, AAU is proud to support Girls on the Run, an organization whose vision is a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Girls On the Run is dedicated to developing confidence, strength of character, respond to others and oneself with care and compassion, create positive connections with peers and adults and make a meaningful contribution to community and society. They inspire all of these qualities using fun, experience based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
 
Remember to bring your shoe-like decorated box and donations collected to Nationals. Submit both to the Kids Helping Kids booth.
