International Final Set: Dominicans vs Puerto Rico

Undefeated Club Dominican Republic (8-0) to take on Club Puerto Rico (7-1) for a chance to face off against the winner of the 18 Open Final for the 2018 AAU World Championship
ORLANDO, Fla (June 27, 2018) - Day three of competition concluded pool play, with Club Dominican Republic still undefeated (8-0) heading into championship play tomorrow. Club Dominican Republic continues its dominance, still undefeated after three days of competition and has not dropped a set yet.
Club Brazil fought hard but fell to the Dominicans in two sets in the morning session (25-17, 25-23). Erika Asencio and Natalia Martinez contributed with the heaviest load of the Dominican offense with 9 and 8 points, respectively, against Brazil.
Then, They cruised to a victory to close out their day with a win over Australia (25-7, 2512). Yanlis Feliz had 7 points for the Dominican Republic while Asencio and Flormarie Colon each chipped in with 5 points against Australia.
Next up for the Dominicans is a chance to take home the International title tomorrow as they meet up with Club Puerto Rico (7-1) at 9:30am at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Club Puerto Rico cruised in its two matches today with two-set wins over Club Slovenia (25-14, 25-13) and Club Colombia (25-17, 25-12).
The winner of the International Final then goes on to play the winner of the 18 Open Final for the 2018 AAU World Championship.
The International Final (9:30am) 18 Open Final (11:00am) and World Championship (1:00pm) will be streamed live on ESPN+ (formerly WATCHESPN).
