2017 AAU Memberships Available August 15, 2016

Individual, Non-Athlete and Club memberships are available beginning August 15. 

Get ahead of the game to secure your 2017 AAU membership EARLY. The current membership year expires August 31 – don't let your membership benefits lapse!

Youth Athlete fees are only $14 for regular or $16 for extended benefits memberships.

BENEFITS OF EARLY SIGN UP 

  • Take full advantage of industry leading insurance coverage for athletes, clubs and events.
  • Your membership will be valid until August 31, 2017 or register for a multi-year membership valid for 2 or 3 years.
  • Promote your event longer! License your event through AAU to receive event promotion on AAU national websites and the ability to market events to AAU members.
  • Expedite fees waived until October 1 for event licenses and certificates.
  • New license categories including tournament series

Be Prepared


All Adult and Non-Athlete Members must agree to a background screening in order to apply for membership. Adult and Non-Athlete memberships are not issued instantly so register early. 

Non-Athlete fees are
$16 for regular or $18 for extended benefits membership. Adult Athlete fees vary per sport. 


FREE Coaches Education | PCA

Since 2013, AAU has partnered with Positive Coaches Alliance (PCA), a national non-profit developing 'Better Athletes, Better People.'

Free coaching tips, video tutorials, and thousands of other free resources are available for coaches and parents alike including Double-Goal Coach® education for the coach who strives to win while also pursuing the more-important goal of teaching life lessons through sports.

NEW for 2017. The courses include specific 'safe sport' resources: key actions and practical tips for parents and coaches striving to protect and keep safe athletes involved in youth sports.
