AAU Jam On It Basketball Series

AAU Jam On It Basketball Series

For the past 15 years, Jam On It Basketball has been running events throughout the west coast. The tournament has grown immensely over the years currently has over 30 events scheduled for 2014.

Jam On It Memorial Day

The Reno Memorial Day Event is by far the largest and the longest running event of the Jam On It series. In 2013, 73 courts hosted the 1,004 teams in attendance, ranging in ages from 2nd - 11th grade. It began in 2001 as a 50 team event and has increased its numbers every year to be the largest AAU sanctioned youth basketball tournament in the country.

Because of the high demand to play in the Reno tournament, and the inability to expand much beyond the 1000 teams that attended in 2013, Jam On It is expanding the event to two cities for 2014! Teams will have the option to play in either Reno or Las Vegas in the same style event, with the same great atmosphere that has made the tournament the great experience it is for players, coaches, and spectators.

Dates: May 24-26, 2014

Location: Reno/Las Vegas

Las Vegas West Coast Nationals Series

Our second largest event is a series of 3 tournaments hosted in Las Vegas during the month of July. The first event is a 4-day tournament promoted through AAU as the AAU West Coast Nationals. It is followed by two 3-day tournaments named the Las Vegas Classic and the Grand Finale, which completes our summer events for the year. In 2014 these events will take place from July 17-July 27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Teams are welcome to just play in one event, but they also have the option to compete in multiple events and could play up to 16 games throughout a 10 day period. In 2013 we had over 700 teams participate in part of the series which featured 30 full sized basketball courts, all in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Dates: July 17-27, 2014

Location: Las Vegas Convention Center

Big Mountain Jam – Salt Lake City, UT

Last but not least is the Big Mountain Jam, hosted during June in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2013 there were 381 teams in attendance. There were 30 basketball courts set up in the South Towne Expo Center in Utah. The 2014 event will be hosted June 26-28 in the same location. In addition to the three day AAU tournament, this event features a high school team camp that offers same school high school teams the ability to come in and play 6 to 8 camp style games in the course of the 2 days prior to the event. These teams are then automatically entered into the tournament as well.

Dates: June 26-28, 2014

Location: South Towne Expo Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
