AAU Appoints New Director of AAU Softball in Georgia

Jeff Johnson, founder and Chief Creative Officer of Jeff Johnson Enterprises, Inc. has been selected as the Georgia State Director of AAU softball.  Georgia AAU Governor James Henry appointed him to his new position.

Jeff Johnson is a trusted media professional, creative executive and Emmy Award winner and now he brings his passion of helping young people succeed in sports to Georgia AAU softball.   Johnson has been involved as a communication and marketing consultant with high level softball/baseball programs and has led the way in the development of softball training tools that are currently on the market today. 

Known for his creative, engaging style of management, Johnson has a laser-like focus on completing projects on time and on budget and having fun doing it!

Johnson recognizes the importance of surrounding the scholar-athlete and their families with a strong support system.  He honed these skills being an athlete both in the amateur ranks and professionally.   He believes in the potential that Georgia AAU softball has and knows that the future is bright. 

“Our goal is to help spread the good word about AAU softball and the opportunities that come from playing with such a respected national organization.  I am excited about being a part of this journey and look forward to working with the softball players, their families, coaches and organizations around the state. ”

Johnson lives in Atlanta and is married with one son who plays baseball at Georgia State University.   He began his new position mid-September 2015.
