Last weekend at the AAU Sullivan Award in New York, AAU’s 2nd Vice President, Matt Williams, and AAU National Treasurer, Jo Mirza, had the opportunity to meet with Albany County officials.
This meeting was to discuss how the county can bring AAU programming to the youth athletes in the area.
The goal is to give young athletes the opportunity to participate in AAU sports including flag football, karate, taekwondo, lacrosse and hockey.
A follow up meeting is slated for June. Stay tuned as more details become available.
