RECAP: 2024 AAU Volleyball Classic

Battles were fought and the cheers of victory are stilling ringing through the Orange County Convention Center halls.
ORLANDO, Fla. (April 1, 2024) – Battles were fought and the cheers of victory are still ringing through the Orange County Convention Center halls. For the 24th year, the AAU Volleyball Classic brought together some of the best teams to battle on the court for a chance to take home an AAU gold medal.
More than 2,500 volleyball athletes from 172 teams traveled to Orlando for the 2024 AAU Volleyball Classic to compete for an AAU championship gold. Teams from Florida, Alabama, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Texas, Canada, Mexico, Virgin Islands, and Peru all showed up to compete this past weekend.
The Gold Division winners were:
WPVC 10 Elite Black – 10U
Lake Nona 11 Coach C – 11U
GP 12 Local Sandra – 12U
Reach Elite 13U Black – 13U
14 Hunters Creek – 14U
Reach Elite – 15U
IMDET 16-1 – 16U
Forest City 17 Helios – 17U
AAC 17 National – 18U
GP 12U defended their title from last year in the 12U division. AAC National defended their title from last year in 18U. Outside of these two teams, this year’s tournament featured new winners in 10U, 11U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17U.
Thank you to all of the teams that came to compete at the AAU Volleyball Classic. Congratulations to all of our winners who punched a ticket to the 51st annual AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships. Teams were split into nine different age groups from 10 and under through 18U. Nine teams were able to claim gold this weekend. By winning at the 2024 AAU Volleyball Classic, the teams were awarded AAU championships, and earned their team a free or discounted entry to the 51st AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships.
