When sports are done right, we want to hold those coaches up as examples of the Double-Goal Coach® model- striving to win, while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports!
Mountain View, Calif. - Winners for Postive Coaching Alliance's (PCA) National Double-Goal Coach Award presented by TeamSnap were recently chosen from nearly 700 nominations PCA received nationwide from 44 of the 50 states. Ten of those winners have also gave their time and dedication to coaching with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).

Each National Winner will receive $1,000, recognition on PCA's website, newsletters and media campaigns, and an invitation (with a guest) to accept the honor at PCA's National Youth Sports Awards & Benefit sponsored by Deloitte on May 2nd at Santa Clara University's Leavey Center.
Four winners will be selected in the coming weeks to win an all-expenses-paid trip with a guest to California for the event and will be welcomed on stage for a panel discussion.
In addition, PCA will be presenting its Founder, Jim Thompson, with the Ronald L. Jensen Lifetime Achievement Award for his vision to create a more positive, character-building youth sports environment and dedicating the last 22 years of his life to this meaningful work! At the gala, the National Coach of the Year Winner will be announced and will receive $10,000 for the Taube Family Prize in Recognition of Excellence in Coaching.
